Adventure Tours Australia (ATA) has won the ‘Australian National Award, Best Tour Company’ at the 2014 Adventure Travel Awards in Sydney.
Hosted by cricketing legend and funny man Kerry O’Keefe, the awards recognise outstanding achievements in the adventure tourism industry in Australia and New Zealand.
“I’m so proud of all of our ATA guides and ATA staff. We have worked really hard to make sure all passengers have the ‘best experience ever’,” Brand Leader David ‘Thommo’ Thomson said.
ATA also won the award for ‘Best Tour/ Activity’ in Western Australia for the 10 Day Perth to Broome tour.
“These awards are not only a great reflection of the hard work over the past year, but as the awards are based on passenger votes, it’s our clients that are telling us how much they enjoyed travelling with Adventure Tours Australia.”
Inside Sales Manager, Tara Murphy, accepted both awards on behalf of the team.
The awards will be on display in the Melbourne office over the coming weeks before heading on their own ‘road trip’ to meet the guides and operations teams, so they too can share in the celebrations.
It is the sixth time in eight years that Adventure Tours Australia has won the top honour. Yay!
